This study aims to examine the effect of mycorrhizal symbiosis on indigenous trees in Sudanese forests in coping with drought stress induced by climate change.

The research will use molecular tools to identify and characterize mycorrhizal fungi associated with indigenous trees along Benin's drought gradient. This innovative study will contribute to the development of sustainable management strategies for these fragile ecosystems.
