Plant-parasitic nematodes cause significant yield loss in wheat production. A study of the distribution and characterization of plant-parasitic nematodes in relation to yield loss in Ethiopia is necessary to understand their potential damage. Resistance and tolerance is proven an eco-friendly and sustainable strategy to manage plant-parasitic nematodes and will be the focus in this PhD research to guarantee sustainable wheat production in Ethiopian soils.
