Mandela Lecture by Breyten Breytenbach
For the 2019 Mandela Lecture, UGent honorary doctor Breyten Breytenbach will share his views on post-apartheid South Africa, on the legacy of Nelson Mandela and on issues like the role of Afrikaans and contemporary politics in South Africa.
Dr. Breytenbach will be interviewed by prof. Margriet van der Waal.
